Homage Characters

When my group and I started playing Mutants & Masterminds, one of the first things we did was create homage characters using our favorite DC/Marvel characters for ideas. I never got around to making the one I really wanted to since I was mostly the GM. So now I'm kicking around an idea to create a Green Lantern-esque character.
Quite a few of my other characters are homages.(Mostly my villains) "The Protozoan" is an homage to the marvel character "Venom". Just as the duo of "The Last Laugh & Cherry Bomb" are an homage to "The Joker & Harley Quinn".

Downfall

Downfall is finally up. Just got his background finished. Its weird. I wonder if others do it that way as well? Draw a superhero or villain from a basic idea, and then come up with a background/full story later.

I'm currently kicking around ideas for a background for my upcoming deviation "Downfall". Once I get the background hammered out, I'll post his image.
